AI-enabled workflows support automated V&V in toolchains

March 3, 2026 By Puja Mitra Leave a Comment

TASKING will be demonstrating its enhanced toolchain at Embedded World in Nuremberg. The end-to-end “compile, debug, test” toolschain integrates AI-driven workflows into embedded software development and verification, supporting functionally safe and secure real-time applications in automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial and robotics systems. Built on the Model Context Protocol, the toolchain enables large language models to direct AI agents on tasks such as applying coding standards, optimizing compilation settings, automating debugging processes, and validating the traceability of requirements. The environment allows AI-assisted automation while maintaining deterministic verification and validation processes required for safety-critical systems.

The TASKING toolchain offers numerous advantages for embedded software development engineers, including:

  • Certified tools, software components, and workflows for specific industries and standards
  • Intrinsic safety and security throughout the development process
  • Lower risk and cost from coding to compliance and certification
  • Simplified fleet license management globally
  • Advanced multicore SoC development leveraging both physical and virtualized environments
