A look at connected car infrastructure
Intel’s Wind River operation showed what’s called its Helix Chassis for handling infotainment, telematics, advanced driver-assist systems, and autonomous vehicle systems. Among the offerings is VxWorks 653, and RTOS that meets something called the FACE standard, the Open Group Technical Standard for the Future Airborne Capability Environment. The FACE Standard is meant to further the development of portable components promoting application interoperability and portability.
