Testing WiFi and eCall technology
Anritsu demonstrated one of its newer instruments dubbed the MT8862A which is used to test WiFi equipment. Also in the booth was an MD8475B base station simulator, which handles anything from 2G to LTE-Advanced. Attached to it was an RF module from Telit to simulate an eCall signal as used in the EU to bring help in the event of a crash.
