Laird Connectivity has announced a flexible PCB antenna with a broad frequency range for LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT devices. The new Revie Flex, which will be showcased at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain, is designed for quick and easy mounting to a plastic housing. The highly efficient (>51%) PCB antenna features omnidirectional pattern coverage optimized for LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT devices at 698-875 MHz and 1710-2500 MHz frequency bands.
The combination of flexibility, multiple frequency bands, and an omnidirectional antenna pattern enables the Revie Flex to deliver higher performance in a variety of integration environments.
“With the ever-growing demand on carrier networks to support massive quantities of IoT devices in an almost unlimited amount of application scenarios, we have developed the Revie Flex to support both NB-IoT and LTE CAT M1 applications,” said Jonathan Kaye, Laird Connectivity’s Senior Director of Product Management. “The flexible, embedded, broadband antenna integrates seamlessly with leading cellular modules and at the same time, provides high-performance and world-class efficiency in the broadest variety of wireless, IoT environments.”
Laird Connectivity will showcase the Revie Flex and its latest advancements in IoT and cellular antennas, including 5G Massive MIMO antennas at Mobile World Congress 2019 at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, February 25-28, 2019.
