The expanded automotive semiconductor portfolio from Texas Instruments (TI) includes new computing, radar, and networking technologies to support safety and autonomy across vehicle models. Highlights include the scalable TDA5 high-performance SoC family providing up to 1200 TOPS of edge AI performance with a safety-optimized architecture, the AWR2188 eight-by-eight 4D imaging radar transceiver for enhanced detection, and the DP83TD555J-Q1 10BASE-T1S Ethernet PHY for extending high-speed vehicle networking; preproduction silicon and development resources are available now ahead of broader deployment. These devices aim to simplify ADAS and software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures, support up to SAE Level 3 autonomy, and reduce system wiring complexity.
