PC memory modules feature geometric aluminum heat spreader design

March 23, 2022 By Redding Traiger Leave a Comment

PNY announced the XLR8 Gaming REV RGBDDR4 overclocked desktop memory to the company’s extensive XLR8 line of PC memory for gaming PCs. The new series will be available at frequency speeds of 3,200Mhz and 3,600Mhzand feature aggressive overclocking and select top-tier chips for ever-higher levels of reliability and performance.

The XLR8 Gaming REV series of memory features strictly selected and qualified modules using chips from top-tier suppliers including Micron, Samsung, and SKHynix. These premium chips deliver incredible performance and offer stable overclocked performance for the most demanding enthusiast. As with other XLR8 Gaming series of memory, the REV models will come with preconfigured XMP 2.0 profiles for automatic and consistent overclocking.

Designed to deliver extreme performance, these new modules, featuring ICs from top-tier suppliers, are cased in a geometric aluminum heat spreader for enhanced thermal performance. The durable aluminum heat spreader protects the sensitive components on the modules during installation and aids in heat dissipation during gaming, video editing, and other memory-intensive work.

XLR8 Gaming REV RGB series DDR4 modules feature customizable RGB illumination and a gloss finish on the faceted side panels to reflect both the ambient lighting in the case as well as the lighting from the modules spine, adding an aggressive look and stylish flair to any system. Users can configure the lighting on the modules with their choice of motherboard RGB control software from major motherboard brands as the modules are compatible with and are ready-to-sync with Asus AURA SYNC, Gigabyte RGB FUSION 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome SYNC1 for impressive levels of control.

PNY XLR8 Gaming REV DDR4 Desktop Memory will be available on March 15, 2022.
