Download, download, download
Seminar participants are supposed to download the Kinetis Design Studio integrated development environment before they arrive at the seminar. This is the package used for editing, compiling and debugging code used for the exorcises during the class and it is based on the open-source Eclipse IDE. Our advice: Definitely get the downloading done before you get there. Also, if you aren’t familiar with Eclipse, you might want to play around with KDS beforehand. During class, you’ll basically be pasting in new addresses for your particular Rigado board into the demo code, then debugging and recompiling. This is all straightforward, but it is easier to get it done with no missteps if you have some familiarity with the debug-recompile-run procedure before you show up.
