Bluetooth beacons
The first real exercise involves turning the Rigado board into a Bluetooth beacon. After reviewing what Bluetooth beacon data formats look like, you modify a prewritten beacon code module to address one of the two Rigado boards given to you at the seminar. The board flashes one of its LEDs to signify its beaconness. You can also see it show up on a smartphone app created for the class.
