The nRF54LM20B wireless SoC from Nordic Semiconductor integrates an Axon neural processing unit with a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 and a RISC-V coprocessor to support on-device edge AI in battery-powered IoT designs. The device includes 2 MB nonvolatile memory, 512 KB RAM and a low-power 2.4 GHz radio supporting Bluetooth LE, Thread and Matter, targeting applications such as sound classification, anomaly detection and gesture recognition without reliance on cloud processing. Nordic Edge AI Lab and compact Neuton models support development and deployment of edge AI workloads while maintaining low power consumption and long device lifetime.
