Bridgetek showcased their BT815/6 series of advanced graphics controller ICs for next-gen HMI development that supports Adaptive Scalable Texture Compression (ASTC) algorithm. The compression algorithm allows for smaller compressed files so image quality can be enhanced significantly bringing color TFT to broader markets including home automation and industrial. Both these ICs support the rendering of high-resolution graphics and have video playback capabilities.
